Ergonomics & Safety Laboratory

The Ergonomics & Safety Laboratory is designed to capture whole-body biomechanics, neural and physiology data. The lab is equipped with a 20-camera motion capture system (Vicon Motion Systems Ltd.), RGB cameras, 7 force plates (Advanced Mechanical Technology, Inc.), a force-instrumented treadmill (Bertec Corporation), electromyography, and high-density electroencephalogram (Cortech Solutions, Inc.).

Occupational Injury Prevention Laboratory

The Occupational Injury Prevention Laboratory is designed to assess psychophysical health, functional capacity, and whole-body biomechanics. The lab is equipped with an 8-camera motion capture system (Vicon Motion Systems Ltd.), 2 force plates (Advanced Mechanical Technology, Inc.), a force-instrumented treadmill (Woodway Inc.), a stair stepper, free weights, and high-density electroencephalogram (Cortech Solutions Inc.).

Fabrication Space

The Fabrication Space of the Neuroergonomics & Occupational Biomechanics Laboratory is utilized for apparatus design, mechanical testing, and experiment preparation. This lab is equipped with workbenches, handheld tools, mechatronics equipment, a tension-compression test stand (Mark-10 Corporation), surface roughness profilometer (Mahr GmbH), and stimulus presentation software (Psychology Software Tools).
